Just Because...

Kids Say the Darndest Things...

Luke: "Mom, Jaden and I have great names- know why? Because Jaden's name starts with J-J-J like Jesus and my name starts with L-L-L like Lord."

Caleb comes out of my room with his stick horse and my cowboy hat on and says: "Look, I hee-haw!"

Caleb (pointing to the page of my open bible): "It says, 'no spankin's today.'"

Matthew: "Grandma, you and Papa are the white hair team."

Matthew: "Oh, I like this camelflower, mom!"
Mom: "Matty, it's called cauliflower."

Caleb: "I have some topee (coffee) mama?"
Mom: "No, Caleb."
Caleb: "Mmmmmmm, tooooopeeee."

Luke: "Sometimes I take peoples exercise away because I get a little funky." (What in the world does that mean??)

Luke: "Caleb kind of talks in spanish."
Matt: "No, he talks in enga-lish."

Luke (tonight at dinner): "Tomorrow, it's time for me to be the man of the house. I'm gonna fix the dishwasher and clean mama's car. And after that, you guys are gonna help me clean the windows."

Matthew: "Wait dad!! I don't have my seatbelt on yet! That's a safety violation we can't do."

Matthew: "Momma, we are the yellow-hair team!"

Luke: "Yeah, and after Noah builds the big ark~ the blood came!"
Me: "Luke Anthony, there was no blood! ..... oh honey, no, it's called the FLOOD."
